Marcia’s Lesson Links
Marcia has assembled hundreds of lesson plan links! She has categorized them by subject and by type (printable, interactive, seasonal, etc.). There are more lesson plans here than you will ever use, with new ones all the time. These are mostly for regular teachers, and there is a large section for substitute teachers.
Substitute Teachers Message Board
These pages offer new teachers a way to network with other teachers and to get answers to their classroom questions from veteran teachers.

The Substitute Teaching Institute at Utah State University is the only university in the world that has a department dedicated solely to substitute teaching and management. Their goal is to revolutionize the role of substitute teachers into an opportunity for educational excellence. STI is the premier organization that researches substitute teaching issues, including training and managing substitutes. An excellent resource for training, materials, and support.
